@NintendoByNature With Cecil you are going to straight up attack with him. Kain can Jump while Rosa needs to stay on heals. Edge it's best at throwing so any throw weapons you have use them particularly the weapon you got from Yang's wife. Rydia should be using Flare nothing more. Summons take to long however when you use flare be ready to heal with Rosa particularly Curaja as he will counter it with his own flare. Don't worry about buffs like haste and such as Zeromus will remove them so in general it's a waste of MP and a move. Big Bang is the worst attack but as long as Rosa heals you should be fine.

Ok, I did it. Didn't use anything from rydia though and she just used items while Rosa healed. Jump from kain, hitting/throwing from edge, and hitting from Cecil. What a great game. Glad I experienced it through the PR though so I was able to boost xp and not grind AS much.

@NintendoByNature if you’re feeling like something a little different now that you’ve played IV, III is one of my favorites.

@Eel III is an NES FF yes?

@NintendoByNature yes, it’s a little simpler but I really enjoy it.

With the job system you can create some wacky teams to make the games a breeze or an unintentional challenge.

@NintendoByNature I will be honest I never beat the game myself but that's the strategy my friends have used in the past.

@Eel I'm all for simple RPGs. XC is the only series I don't mind that's deep for an RPG yet still fully enjoyable and understandable.

@Tasuki I read that exact method from multiple people online but it didn't work for me. A low and slow approach is how I did it and it worked, just took some time since I wasn't using any flares or summons.

@NintendoByNature So that you finished FFIV will you be moving onto the other Pixal Remasters?

@Tasuki I will soon for sure. I just started another playthrough of oracle of seasons though.
