Idk if this forum has been made yet, but yesterday I realized that Streets of Rage and King Of Fighters would've been cool to see work together.
I know that Sega and Snk don't seem to have any relation with each other, but it could've been fun to see a crossover game of the two, or just a Streets of Rage team in one the King of Fighters games. (Axel, Blaze and Max) (Skate is cool but it probably wouldn't be ethical to enlist a child in a martial arts tournament full of full grown adults with years of fighting experience and fire magic)
My dream crossover is and probably will always be Ace Attorney X Smash Bros.
But if we’re talking original games specifically, I would love to see a greater crossover between Mario Kart and F Zero. I think the fast, frantic action of F Zero and the items and creative maps from Mario Kart would work really well together. We already kind of saw it with some of the DLC for 8 Wii U and it was great. But I’d like them to go further with that idea.
Also it just popped in my head, but I think a Zelda and Kid Icarus crossover would be cool. I don’t know how that would work, but their games are somewhat similar in theming with their fantasy settings. I feel like that would probably work.

@sForzan No, they did Street Fighter X Tekken but the Namco part of that project never came about. That's how they where able to put Akuma into Tekken 7 his character was made for Tekken X Street Fighter but didn't want to junk it due to game being canceled.

I still think there's a lot of untapped potential in Musou / Warriors crossovers. Some (like Hyrule Warriors) are just excellent bundles of fanservice, while others (like Fire Emblem Three Hopes and Persona 5 Strikers) are just excellent games in their own right.
I'd love to see a cross-over with the Mario series (think how much material they'd have to work with here!) in particular.
Or, why not go crazy, and do a crossover with multiple Nintendo properties at once? Considering we're not likely to get another Smash for a while, this would be a another cool way to bring all of these characters back together.
Still waiting for Animal Crossing x Doom to be canon outside of Smash Bros.
Metroid and No Man’s Sky would be a pretty good crossover too. Heck, Star Fox would work great with NMS. Something like Starlink, but without the characters.
