Looks Like Mewtwo Will Be The Next Tera Raid In Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

Darn. This is one I want, so I’ll have to suffer through the raids I guess lol

Mewtwo Raids were very much expected given the neon purple teaser in the Presents announcement video so I'm not too surprised to see it basically confirmed here.

What I AM interested in however is the fact that Pokemon TCG is being featured in the top-left corner of that newsletter as well. Every other image featured is NSO stuff related to July/August (Oracle games on NSO, Splatoon 3 Splatfests, Mewtwo Raids, etc.), so to have the TCG game there as well when we don't have an exact release date for it seems to imply it's going to be releasing very soon (shadow-drop after the Presents perhaps?).

How do you get 7 star ⭐️ Terra raids?

Hopefully the only reason Red/Blue aren't shown is because they're coming later.

I read that as "Mewtwo will be the next Tara Reid" and was briefly lost in a nightmarish world.

@IceClimbersMain I know TCG was one of the games announced in the initial lineup of games coming to GB NSO, but Pokemon themselves potentially announcing it in tomorrow's Presents gives me major hope that they might do the same for Gens 1, 2 and maybe 3 since they announced the Virtual Console releases of RBY and GSC in previous Pokemon Directs.

7-Star Raids are event exclusive versions of the already exisiting 6-Star Raids. In order to unlock 6-Star Raids, you have to beat the main 4 storylines of SV (the 4th one unlocks after beating the first 3) then go on a post-game scouting mission across the region where you challenge a certain number of Raid Dens and rematch the previous Gym Leaders. Once you have that taken care of, Jacq should give you a call letting you know a 6-Star Raid has popped up somewhere on the map (the glowing black Tera icon on said map is the giveaway as to where it is). After you get that notification, all you need to do is defeat the raid and 6/7-Star Raids will be available once-per-day

In 1.3.2 datamine update it was has coded special 7-Star Raid to only battle Mewtwo aka is uncatchable and if battle Mewtwo with Mew, Mew's bases stats end ups boosted only in those raids permantly by 1,5 times while winning Raid with Mew even gives for Mew Mightiest Mark! Over a day ago a better speculation came for 2 of 3 emoji riddles from Makio & JRoses due some person on Twitter reminded that Ogerpon has Starry Eyes, so type masks could mean Ogerpons mask chaning in those types!

That would be a Tera Raid I would be looking forward to do!

I don't really know why they keep doing stuff like the Mewtwo and Zeraora raids in SwSh where they make them uncatchable. One, it pretty much defeats the entire point of even bothering to do them, and two, everyone has like 40 Mewtwos anyway, it isn't special.

@SViper maybe something else to promote this, but a big stretch Red, Blue, Yellow!
